Tanzer Sarialan

Tanzer was born in 1967 in Turkey. He completed his tertiary education in Tourism & Hotel Management in 1990 from the Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, Turkey and became a trusted inbound/outbound tour guide. In 2008, he settled in South Africa and completed his guiding course to become a professional tour guide in South Africa as well.
In 2013, Tanzer established African Diamond Tours, together with his wife, and became a proud partner of Cullinan Holdings LTD. He continues his tour guide passion, with over 30 years of experience, and sharing his time with interesting people from around the world.
Funda Sarialan

Funda makes thigs happen! She is originally from Istanbul, Turkey and is fluent in English, Turkish and Arabic. She completed Ataturk Faculty of Education in English at Marmara University and worked in the industry for over 7 years, but decided to experience something new and became a trusted inbound/outbound tour guide. She wanted to see more and decided that Turkey was a bit small for her at the moment.
Funda ended up in Cape Town 12 years ago and immediately fell in love with the Mother City. She completed her guiding course and became a professional tour guide in South Africa as well. In 2013, Funda established African Diamond Tours, together with her husband, and became a proud partner of Cullinan Holdings LTD. If she had to choose a different career, she would probably be a chef. Creating family traditions by cooking for her household with whom she shares with her husband, her daughter, two cats and a loveable dog.
Moira Menzel

Moira is born and raised in Cape Town and is a true ambassador of South Africa with more than 18 years of experience of the travel industry. She spent a couple of years in Asia but her love of Africa brought her back to these sunny shores.
Her hobbies are sailing, snorkelling and scuba diving. Her enthusiasm for travel, places and people is infectious, and it is with this enthusiasm that she will ensure to tailor-make the perfect African holiday to suit your budget and style. From experience, she says that you can never get enough of Africa, and we agree!
Leandra de Vries
Operations Supervisor

Leandra is one of our longest serving consultants. She was born in Zimbabwe and her family emigrated to sunny South Africa over 15 years ago and never looked back. She completed her tertiary education with a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management in 2013 from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth.
In 2014 she settled in Cape Town and started her career at the African Diamond Tours family. Travelling is what fuels her love for life and she is always on the lookout for new ideas and experiences. An adventurer at heart, Leandra hopes her next trip will be Zanzibar.
Anthea Hendricks

Born and bred in Cape Town, Anthea started working in the tourism industry 5 years ago. She worked in a transfer division at a well know Cape Town hotel but felt it was time to broaden her horizons and joined the African Diamond Tours family in early 2019.
She grown immensely with knowledge of the industry. Her goal is to travel more within Southern Africa to widen her destination knowledge and to connect with unique individuals that share her passion of the tourism industry. She values honesty and in her free time she loves spending time with her friends and family, especially her two beautiful children.
